No. 360 Alert is specifically designed for renters with non-invasive installation methods. All sensors use removable adhesive mounts that won’t damage paint or drywall. Cameras can be placed on shelves or tables without any mounting. Nothing requires drilling or permanent modification to your apartment.
What happens when I move to a new apartment?
360 Alert moves with you! Simply remove the components from your current apartment (the adhesive removes cleanly), pack them up, and reinstall at your new place. The dashboard has a “Move Assistant” feature that helps you reconfigure your system for your new floor plan in minutes. There are no transfer fees or new equipment purchases required.
Do I need Wi-Fi for 360 Alert to work?
Basic functionality requires Wi-Fi, but our Complete and Premium plans include cellular backup that keeps your system running even if your internet goes down. This is especially valuable in apartment buildings where Wi-Fi can be unreliable or during power outages.
Can I share access with roommates or property managers?
Yes! The 360 Alert Dashboard supports role-based access control. You can assign different permission levels to roommates, trusted neighbors, or property management. Each user gets their own login credentials, and you control exactly what they can access and modify.
Is professional monitoring required?
No. While we offer professional monitoring with our Complete and Premium plans, our Basic plan allows for self-monitoring through the dashboard.
